New Principal at Castleberry Elementary Starts 2015-2016 School Year

  New Principal at Castleberry Elementary Starts 2015-2016 School Year   
  Mr. MontalvoCastleberry Elementary will be starting the new school year with a new principal. Ricardo Montalvo will be replacing Hollie Lancarte who retired at the end of the 2014-2015 school year.

Mr. Montalvo comes to Castleberry ISD with 20 years of educational experience directly from the Education Service Center, Region 11, where he served as the Coordinator of Instructional Support and Consultant for School Improvement and Bilingual ESL.

He earned his Master’s degree from the University of North Texas and is currently pursuing is Ph.D. in Special Education Leadership at UNT.

Ricardo Montalvo began his career in education as a Bilingual/ESL teacher at T.A. Sims Elementary in Fort Worth ISD. He also served six years as a Bilingual Educational Diagnostician at Irving ISD and Mansfield ISD, as well as four years as Principal and Assistant Principal at Dallas ISD.

Mr. Montalvo is a Fort Worth native and graduated from Northside High School.
